Hi there! I’m Tiffany Wong.

I’m an actor and director working across Gadigal and Wurundjeri land.

My acting work includes Five Blind Dates (Prime Video & Goalpost Pictures) playing fun and bubbly bride-to-be, Alice Ling. This film will be released in February 2024 and playing my teenage dream role, Juliet, in William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet (Australian Shakespeare Company) in 2023 at the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.

Last year, I directed Lady Precious Stream by S. I Hsiung at The Flying Nun at Brand X – an experiment in form and style. In 2021, I directed Three Fat Virgins Unassembled by Ovidia Yu for KXT Storylines & Slanted Theatre which won a Sydney Theatre Award for Costume Design, and the debut production for Slanted Theatre of Ching Chong Chinaman. I have been Assistant Director to Courtney Stewart for Sydney Theatre Company’s Top Coat, Lucy Clements for New Ghosts Theatre Company’s Iphigenia In Splott, and Javaad Alipoor for National Theatre of Parramatta’s Things Hidden Since The Foundation Of The World.

I am the Artistic Director of Slanted Theatre, which aims to showcase and support emerging Asian Australian theatre-makers. Slanted Theatre was featured as a Champion of the Asian Australian 2022 List and as an individual, I was featured personally as an Honouree. I am a proud member of Actors Equity.

When I am not working, you can find me training in kung fu and amateur-ly doing embroidery and roller jam dancing. I’m also known as the Woman Who Married Her Diploma.

Tiffany Wong was impressive as Juliet, and she was able to bring a true authenticity to Juliet’s ingénue naivety. Wong’s delivery of Juliet’s famous balcony monologue was a highlight of the evening.
