Tiffany Wong is an Australian-born Chinese actor living and working in Sydney, Australia.
Beginning 2020 with a bang, Tiffany appeared in Sydney Festival performing in the musical ensemble with Speak Percussion’s Atlas of the Sky, which was awarded the Art Music prize for Best Performance of the Year at the 2019 APRA AMCOS Australia Awards and performed as Benvolio in Romeo & Juliet.
Last year, she performed in Sydney Comedy Festival in Womn’s Revue: School Splashtacular, St. Paul’s Victoriana: The 56th Season – Australia’s longest-running theatrical production, MC’d by Peter Cousens, Jack, or the Submission, and the Sydney University Dramatic Society’s Caligula and Chain Play: A Crystal Cleen Chaos.
Later this year, Tiffany will be directing the Australian Premiere of Ching Chong Chinaman under the new theatre group, Slanted Theatre, assistant directing Opera Carnivale’s Hitler’s Daughter – the Opera and a community production of Reefer Madness. in 2019, Tiffany directed the sold-out double bill, ‘Til Death, tackling Ionesco’s absurdist Jack, or the Submission and her first operetta, Trial by Jury by Gilbert & Sullivan. This was her second production as director, after making her directorial debut in May with Shakespeare’s As You Like It!
While not preparing for the stage or studying, Tiffany performs as Your Resident Ukulele Girl and has performed at large events including AMSA Global Health Conference and the University of Sydney’s Welcome Week, teaching musical theatre to kids, giving impromptu classical piano concerts, or learning a new skill (most recently, she has joined a social netball team).
